So it turned out that while many Canadians planned to celebrate the Canada day on Monday,a B.C couple were allegedly plotting to detonate bombs outside the British Columbia legislature in Victoria,B.C which hosted about 40,000 people for the Canada day celebration
They were arrested by the RCMP on monday and have each been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, knowingly facilitating a terrorist activity and possession of an explosive substance.
It's believed that they were inspired by some Al-Qaeda materials particularly one of Al-Qaeda's recent publications but they had no international links.
They had Improvised explosive devices that included bolts,nails,washers and other materials which was clearly an imitation of the IED's used in the Boston Marathon bombing.
The police was quick to detect this plot early and the couple arrested in Abbotsford are in custody in Surrey.
They will both appear in court again next tuesday.
I wonder what pain their alleged plot would have caused had their plans succeeded

So glad they were busted before anything actually happened! *yay cops!* It's sad that they ever had these intentions, they obviously don't value human life. People need to quit playing God because their time will come, when they meet the maker... then what. That's where your eternity is decided. So.. Justice will be served to all of these people, if not on earth.. soon enough.
