INSTRUCTIONS TO CHAMPIONS-SERIES

Most people aspire to be champions in life but sometimes,we struggle to achieve our goals and do nothing but blame our failure on different people or situations.The thought of this made me flash back to 2010 when i heard a sermon by Dr Daniel Olukoya titled ''Instructions to Champions'. I will be sharing the basic principles of becoming a Champion with you.
1. CORRECT YOURSELF FROM THE ERRORS OR MISTAKES OF OTHERS
From my own experience so far,a lot of people wait for things to happen to them before learning and in this process, a lot of things could have been lost.Time is an example.Money could be one other example as well as out precious time.
Did you know that if you carefully observe others,you can learn from their mistakes and not wait for life itself to teach you a lesson­

2. DO NOT ALLOW WHAT YOU CAN'T DO TO INTERFERE WITH WHAT YOU CAN DO
People tend to confuse themselves by aiming for impossible things.Pay good attention to whatever you can do and do it well.Remember,some people wish they had your talent.

3. UNDERSTAND THAT FAILURE IS THE PATH OF LEAST RESISTANCE
Whoever watches the wind will not plant and whoever looks at the clouds will not reap. Indolence will not help you achieve anything.You must find something to do.Even if you fail,you try again till you succeed.Remember that nothing good comes easy so you have to keep trying till you succeed.

4. TO BECOME AN ACHIEVER,YOU MUST BE PRAYERFUL
We live in a world where people have neglected prayer but i must tell you,it works.In all our efforts to achieve,we must do the following:
(a)Prayerfully prepare
(b)Prayerfully Plan
(c)Prayerfully swing into action
(d)Prayerfully persist

5. DO NOT BE WEAK IN THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY
If anyone ever tells you that life is rosy and you can get all that you want without encountering challenges,it's a lie.The truth is that life is not nice to us everytime and when you are challenged,be strong and courageous.Face the situation and be true to yourself till you come out on top.
