WHEN YOUR HEART WANDERS

I would like to congratulate you as you read this short piece because you are privileged to inhabit this planet which was made to aid our existence as humans and children of God the creator. Even if you doubt the existence of God, there must have been series of occurences in your life or that of your loved one(s) that points to the fact that a supreme power exists.

In the course of my interaction with individuals who find it hard to believe in the existence of God and judging by my own personal experience(as someone who has doubted as well),we humans tend to loose hope in anything/anyone we believe in whenever we do not achieve our desired results.That is pretty much why a lot of people do not reverence God who truly exists and loves us.

Believe it nor not,He created you because he loves you and because this life is in phases,every moment may not be rosy.

A well respected servant of God (Poju Oyemade) posted a short message on his Facebook page which i think addresses the doubts that we all have on our minds.If you can patiently absorb this message,you will find comfort in the fact that God cares and He does not change even when our heart wanders!!!
POJU OYEMADE : 

• The places in your life today that create the emotions of pain,regret or sorrow are areas that are pregnant with the events that will define your future. 

• Don't create a gulf between you and what God intends to do by getting bitter but rejoice and give thanks for those areas of pain. 

• Read the Word till u see afar of what God promises to do in those areas. Meditate on the promises till you are persuaded, then rejoice in them till you know that its done.

I hope this makes sense to you because God is forever faithful and He deserves our reverence even in our times of trouble because even though your miracle may tarry,it will surely come.Have a wonderful day.

HOMELESS MAN TURNS IN A LOST BAGPACK WITH $42,000USD

It is a known fact that times are tough and everyone tries to make use of any(I mean any) opportunity that comes their way to make money but there are people who wouldn't change their values despite their situation. Such is the case of an homeless man in Boston who turned in a lost bag pack containing a passport and a lot of cash/cash equivalents to the Police.

Glen James of Boston found the bag pack at the South Bay mall in the Dorchester neighbourhood around 5:30pm on Saturday.

The bag pack specifically contained:
1. A Chinese passport
2. $2,400USD in cash
3. Almost $40,000 in Traveller's Checks

The man who lost the bag pack had already informed the Best Buy staff in the mall so he was just taken to the Police Station to verify his identity once his bag pack was found. Thanks to the homeless man and hopefully he'll be rewarded.

Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote has been named the Richest African In The World by Forbes magazine.

The criteria used by Forbes to determine the Richest African In The World Includes:

• The value of shares held in quoted companies
• The size and market share of his/her companies
• Number of companies he/she owns 
• Assumed value of the companies and the impact of his/her companies on his/her homeland

Fifty six year old Dangote is a Nigerian business magnate who owns Dangote group,a group of companies that has interests in commodities with operations in its homeland and several other countries.

Aliko Dangote's estimated net worth is $16.1 billion USD

SHOW SOME LOVE

Life has a lot to offer us.It's offerings are sometimes good and some other times questionable but we have no choice than to enjoy the moment and work towards making tomorrow better.

We deal with unpleasant situations at different times in our lives.

If you have never communicated with an homeless person or the guy/girl just on the street striving for survival,you probably do not have an extensive insight to life in its fullness.

Some people live in the comfort of their homes,eat what they want and even have jobs.Some have kids,cars, businesses and many other things one can be blessed with but are not thankful.

18. LIVING WITHOUT A CONSCIENCE IS LIKE DRIVING A CAR WITHOUT BRAKES
Your conscience is your Policeman.It checks you day in day out.When one`s conscience is infiltrated,he or she shows no remorse for actions that are questionable but when such a person`s conscience is clear,that person will strive to do what is right every time.

OUR QUEST FOR WHAT WE DESERVE-HAPPINESS

One thing humans have always searched for is Happiness. It is defined as a mental or an emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.

Although, we all like to reach this state of well-being,It is still important to know that what makes one person happy does not necessarily make another happy so this is a simple but complicated topic to write about.

A few years back, a young man thought it was time for him to settle down so he started searching for the woman who would be his partner. This young man was single for a year after many failed relationships so he had the idea of what he was looking for and he realized that it took the grace of God for him to find a perfect match so he registered on different dating websites as well as met new people all the time and he started going out on dates.

After some time, he met a girl who seemed to match his preference and after a long conversation decided to meet with her. He set out on a journey to see her and was all excited about it. They met and instantly liked each other. All their friends and well wishers got to know about this relationship because it was going to turn out to marriage not too long after they met. Little did they know the relationship was only going to last for a short time and truly,it ended about 6 months after they met due to irreconcilable differences.

Prior to the time these two met, they both had series of failed relationships. However, they believed this was going to be different because of their seriousness, optimism and commitment but unfortunately, they had to break up. After which the man gave up on searching and the lady relocated elsewhere to begin a new life.

LOVE FOR THE STREET

I wrote about showing some love a while ago and then i thought it'll be a nice idea to practice what i preached.

I teamed up with some friends on the 23rd of June to reach out to the "occupiers" of the street.

YOUR TRADITION IS YOUR LEGACY

The life that we all live is for a period of time that is unknown to anyone but our Maker.

The concept that likens this world to a Market place where everyone comes to conduct his/her business(es) and leaves at the end is a perfect description of our sojourn here. However,i think death is not the end of an individual.He/she continues to live on.

The question now is -How would she still live when she dies? What will his house address be? What will her phone number be? Would he relocate somewhere else?
Unfortunately,i do not have those answers but i would like to explain a few things

 People keep living through their LEGACIES even after they die.

The McMillan dictionary defines Legacy as "Money or Property left for someone after the demise of another person" or "Something such as a tradition or problem that exists as a result of something that happened in the past".

The first definition does not seem to apply to everyone because there are people who do not leave any money or property behind when they pass away but everyone leaves a tradition behind so I think the second definition is more realistic.

AFRICA IS THE FUTURE

The beautiful continent of Africa is one that has a lot of things to offer.It's vast resources have not even been fully explored in the 21st century which clearly indicates the fact that its wealth is enormous.

I find it hilarious that a lot of people think Africa is a country.What is unknown to them is that Africa is the second largest continent in the world and it covers about 20% of the world's land.There are 55 countries in the continent but 53 of those countries are members of the African Union while all 55 are members of the United Nations.

The continent has over One billion people currently residing there with countries such as Nigeria,Ethiopia and Egypt having the highest population.

According to science,life started in Africa and all of us regardless of our race or culture are products of humans who either stayed in or migrated from Africa.One question i personally have is-What is the rationale behind difference in body colors??
