AFRICA IS THE FUTURE

The beautiful continent of Africa is one that has a lot of things to offer.It's vast resources have not even been fully explored in the 21st century which clearly indicates the fact that its wealth is enormous.

I find it hilarious that a lot of people think Africa is a country.What is unknown to them is that Africa is the second largest continent in the world and it covers about 20% of the world's land.There are 55 countries in the continent but 53 of those countries are members of the African Union while all 55 are members of the United Nations.

The continent has over One billion people currently residing there with countries such as Nigeria,Ethiopia and Egypt having the highest population.

According to science,life started in Africa and all of us regardless of our race or culture are products of humans who either stayed in or migrated from Africa.One question i personally have is-What is the rationale behind difference in body colors??

As an African,i can boldly say that there is something about that continent that is spiritual and it cannot be comprehended by the ordinary mind.There is something unique about Africa.

Africa is well endowed with natural resources such as Crude Oil,Gold,Diamond,Iron,Copper, Uranium,Bauxite amongst many others.It also has huge Agricultural and Human potentials.

Its resources have not been fully explored and i think that is due to the fact that the continent has been through a lot of turmoil such as bad governance,illiteracy,wars, destabilization due to influence from outside which resulted in situations such as slavery and terrorism amongst others.However,the people are beginning to understand things better and how they can manage their resources effectively.

We all know it will take time but the emergence of the African continent as a BLESSING is inevitable because it will happen someday and just as Martin Luther King had a dream,i have one that Africa will not too long from now be recognized as a blessing.

So many things need to be changed though.The orientation of Africans has to change for better and that is where Education comes in.Everyone has to see what the world looks like and what has been done.Then,Africans can set their goals in such a way that its achievements will benefit them hugely and the rest of the world as well.The Governments of the countries in the continent need to wake up from their slumber and work towards a future of hope for their citizens. They need to recognize their place in the world and take advantage of that.After all,that is what other nations have done over the years.Africa must evolve with the world !!!

All that i have mentioned obviously creates an African environment for development and continuous research as well as the maximization of human potentials.This is what i call the FUTURE.A place where new things can be done.A place where dreams can be achieved.A place where resources can be tapped into.A place where the mistakes of other nations won't be repeated.A place where the whole world receives blessings from and identifies with.

The people of Africa must be understood by the world too.They are a group of people that have just in recent times opposed dictatorship,hardship,slavery,poverty,lack of basic amenities,lack of healthcare and value for human life,war and instability amongst many other things.Recognize the fact that these things are still going on in some parts of the continent and a new wave of terrorism is being countered by the governments everyday.The people of Africa are good people.They are well meaning and very compassionate.Our different cultures are rich and Africans are well nurtured by the values of their ancestors.We know who we are-We are special !!!

Imagine how Africa and its people will be if all good things are in place.

I implore the world to join hands together to liberate this continent even as they enjoy its vast resources because therein lies the FUTURE.
