EDWARD SNOWDEN,U.S WHISTLEBLOWER LIKELY TO LEAVE MOSCOW AIRPORT

Edward Snowden
Edward Snowden,a former technical contractor of the United States and former employee of the Central Agency who recently leaked top-secret US surveillance program on its citizens to the world has been granted documents that would allow him to stay elsewhere in Russia while his application for Asylum is being processed

He took off Hong Kong and later to Russia in the spring of 2013 after leaking these details for the fear of his life.He is
an American citizen whose passport has been cancelled because his disclosures rank among the most significant NSA security breaches in the history of the United States.

He is rumored to have been staying in Moscow Airport and has since been granting interviews to the press.Russian media says he is now able to stay somewhere else till his Asylum application which could take some time to review is being processed. If granted,he will be able to live in Russia and travel outside abroad for at least a year. His Lawyer denies knowledge of this. However he said Snowden could be granted those documents anytime.

Julian Assange

The controversial snowden has been labelled as a hero and also as a traitor by others. The US government said Snowden's disclosures could harm US interests and its position in the War on Terror but one interesting thing is the fact that Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks who has also leaked US secrets supports Snowden and thinks he is doing the right thing. He  implored Ecuador to grant Asylum to Snowden in one of his interviews that focused on the actions of the US Citizen. The Presidents of Bolivia,Venezuela and Nicaragua have also indicated their interest in granting Snowden Asylum if "circumstances" permit.

I'm pretty sure Snowden is going to be popular for some time and everyone will be monitoring what happens to him next to see if he chooses to stay in Russia or not.
