EGYPT DECLARES ONE MONTH STATE OF EMERGENCY


The Egyptian Government has declared a one month State of emergency across the country in its effort to enforce security.This comes after the nationwide clashes between the supporters of the deposed President, Mohammed Morsi and the security forces which left well over 235 people dead including 43 policemen and 2000 wounded.

Morsi,the first democratically elected Egyptian President was overthrown by the military after about a year in office.This has caused several demonstrations all over Egypt and now the whole story had changed due to the use of force and firepower by the Egyptian security forces.

The Egyptian Central Bank has instructed the commercial banks in all affected arrears to close their places of business.The Landmark Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum too were closed as a precaution

Morsi is now being held at an unknown location..
